Pretty self-explanatory really. Older PCs used to ship with Netscape, then Microsoft started pushing IE and that took off. The average user, who knows nothing about nothing, will just use what works - what comes with their system and what is in their face when they turn it on. Until Firefox/et al starts coming shipped as the default browser, I think IE will always be in the lead.

Indeed. Same reason Symantec owns 50+% of the antivirus market; they simply have it preloaded on the most PCs, and the average user can't be bothered to change it out.

It's fast and nice, but now I got used to Chrome. It doesn't look so sharp and edgy :\

Oh and Chrome seems faster for me still...

LOL @ Mozilla, they still haven't fixed the hardware acceleration shit they had. So sad. Entire Firefox 4.0 is very sad actually, how from greatness they have fallen to this.

It's not that bad as you make it out to be. At least it still has the option for showing a proper menu bar.



1 and 2 are still amazing.
