Guys, since I trust you the most, I'd like to ask if someone here ever did buy something there and kept his Steam account in good condition.

I found some fishy stuff about them (but also positive stuff on the flipside).

http://www.overclock.net/online-deals/946740-intkeys-homefront-21-28-ac-botherhood-94.html

On this page someone claimed that "there are legit now" and he bought BF3 from them.
The very same screenshot pops up in another thread about intkeys.com where someone claims he got non working keys from them. He claims that the screenshot is from NFS: Unleashed.

http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1120025?p=31972273&viewfull=1#post31972273

This key was a free giveaway from another shop. CDkeydiscount.com

I also found several people claiming that their Steam accs got banned because they bought BlackOps there.

I also confronted one of them via chat and he seemed be honest. But also he couldn't proof it ofc. I don't even know how he should.

Also there are many people who seem to have no problems with them whatsoever.

---------------------------------------------------------

So anyone with some experience with those guys? As far as I know I can reclaim that money via Paypal?

Steam doesn't ban for fishy keys. I got both previous cod games blocked on steam and my account was left intact.

Allright but those guys who claimed this are pretty active on OC so I don't think they're lying.
But I trust you more obviously.

Did you buy something from Intkeys.com?

Next fishy thing.. this is where the money goes.

Libertas Investment Consulting Group AG

WTF?! So they'll get me trouble if I try to get my money back with the help of Paypal?

The whole COD: BO thing with Intkeys happened when they had a sale for that game ($18 USD IIRC). Intkeys sold a lot of Black Ops CD Keys in that sale.

Dmitri (owner of intkeys.com afaik) activated all the keys from his computer, with the account info of each buyer. Steam obviously noticed this, and disabled all the involved accounts (a friend got his account disabled that time).

Most guys, after talking with steam support, got the account back but without Black Ops. Dmitri gave people the option to get a refund or store credit on intkeys.

Just a heads up about that issue Very Happy. It happened a long time ago, and I don't know if intkeys is trustable anymore.

even if they are a scam, simply pay with paypal and get your money back (if there is a problem with the key).

bought from a fishy company once, the key worked for like 3 days.after that it got banned/disabled and i couldnt play MP anymore.Contacted that shop, they gave me "Refund" in form of another key (that didnt work at all). After that i had enough of em,contacted Paypal about the issue and got my money back.

Afterwards i've read that those guys sell keys that they bought with stolen CreditCard's and things like that

@asabaraba Uhm thx.

@BettyShikle Did you get your Steamacc back? Since what you're saying is the opposite of what Garus stated. And I won't let those fucker activate my key. I'll do this myself since I don't need them to do that.

Seems like I'm just the only one of the ordinary bunch who was stupid enough to buy there I guess

Really? No one ever bought something there? Laughing
God damn!

At least it's only 20€ I lost eventually. Will activate the key (if I get one) on a 2nd Steam Acc just to be safe there.

It was one of those fancy games that wont need Steam to run in the background, key was changeable in the MP options Razz

Seriously, calm down dude, youre acting like a scared bunny (or "Angsthase") cause of your 20 WingWangs,is this your first time you buy a Key on ze internet? Razz
They will deliver,if not get your money back from PP.Thats why they have that option..

Also: Use a new Steam account if you want to be ubersure that nothing bad happens, activate the key and happy playing.
Even if you give em the logins to let em activate the game, you can turn on that "superduper account lockdown" option in steam afterwards,so that only YOU can use that account in the future.

What i would like to know is: did you have the cash on your paypal or did you let PP charge your bankaccount?

edit: ye.seems that they are under heavy DDoS-fire since yesterday

No, but it's first time I bought a key from a 3rd party seller. And I did let PP charge my bankaccount. Why?
And like I said, I'll be using the key with a fresh steam account.

Btw, why are they under DDoS ? Laughing Angry customers perhaps Laughing

m3th0d2008 - chill out mate - it'll all be ok. Not used intkeys myself but the worst you can expect for buying through them if you ask me.

1. possible delay in delivery
2. key blocked later (unlikey but you will get a replacement or refund).

Forget about anything else you might be worried about - honest mate. Yeah any hassle at all ain't fun but none of it will be critical and don't worry about your Steam account. They can't block it permanently just because you buy something in good faith from a dealer who is, as far as you're concerned, authorised - I mean how are you supposed to tell if they are or aren't?

Oh and the DDOS shag will be from a rival who wants to scare customers away from intkeys.

I've bought a few keys from them and so far all have been working and no problems.
Actually all games that I buy now are either retail or keys from either intkeys.com or cdkeysdiscount.com. both of those cd key sites seem very good and never any problems.

Is that site among those I've just mentioned? What does that tell you that I've moved on to other sites myself and those two so far I've not encountered any problems with. Will I at a later point? Don't know but until I get my keys from them on time and they work I continue to use them and once they screw me over I move on again. Plain and simple.

im guessing he stuffed you as well at some point then Very Happy

but moving on from one key site to another, is probably not that wise in the long run they all seem to have the same mentality of.. "get as much in as possible regardless" type of attitude.

I think for the small amounts of cash saved the possibility of the annoyance that could ensue from such sites is not worth the risk.

you know what they say, "if its too good to be true, then it probably is"

Actually no. I've yet to be "stuffed" as you call it. I don't actually remember what site it was you refeer to but I move on usually when key sites get too big as I find that after x amount of time their prices seem to go up because they get too big and they get greedy. Once that happends I usually go looking elsewhere for my purchases.....
