It's happening again: exactly at 2AM sunday night, 1 hour will disappear and the time will be 3AM. 1 hour extra daylight or an hour less sleep... depends on how you look at it I guess. From what I remember summertime was introduced in WW2 by the Germans. So on sunday morning: rise and shine, nazi time

I thought it was invented because of workers not getting enough daylight or sth like that...

Yes I said it! There are no workers that go to factories in modern countries (my country excluded from the modern list, but the rule applies since we have no industry or economy for that matter  ), it's all automated now.
So why is this fucking rule robbing us of one hour of sleep?! I think Putin wanted to nullify that rule in Russia...

I don't know who was first to propose it - Putin or Medvedev, but Medvedev approved it. We switched 1 hour forward for the last time. |

I just hope everyone will follow. I'm sick of having to adjust to this scheme, always takes me a couple of days to go into normal mode...

suggested many years earlier, though not by a german

I fuck up my sleep schedule every weekend anyway, mondays are always terrible to get up and adjust to getting up 3-4 hours earlier than on weekends

maybe in Israel....Daylight Savings Time here in NA has nothing to do with Nazi's or Germany |
