Got a call from my boss last night. Apparently I won't be going to work this Monday.
He had to fire 25 people cause the company that I "worked" for can't afford to pay they're salaries anymore. (it's a private loaning company, like a bank, but it doesn't have many requirements like a bank to get a loan and you get the money in 1-2 days, thus higher interest.)
Had a desk job, not much hassle, just had to give calls to the agents on the field and register the payment bills in the server. It was a dream job at my age (20yrs old) and the payment was good too.. meh
I'm fucking depressed now.. and I'm usually all happy joy joy and stuff..
And I'm not even in the mood to get drunk today..

fuk bankers and their scandalous ways, i know this sounds corny but think of the opportunities that might have opened up for you, one door closes who knows what the next one that opens will be, hopefully it won't be unemployment for 66 weeks.
Sounds like you left a scum company. I would never support or work for a company like you've described. They get the people in debt into more debt. Our country doesn't need more retarded poor people in debt.

I guess it depends on the field but I got four serious job offers (I wasn't even looking) in my last semester of college last year. Quit my first job after 2 months just because I got a better offer and I declined the other two. People go into weird fields and then complain how they can't find work. Or they just ease their way though college, not having learned much and then they look for a job in the field that's simple enough for them to do because they don't really know shit (Know plenty of people like this). It's the stupid balkan mentality at fault here.

Probably, but you cannot expect that all ppl go to work in IT... Some actually went to uni to learn and work in their field...

But most don't...They don't know where they want to go and what they want to do. At least that's the impression I got from the people I went to high school with. They just know they need to go to college, but what exactly...that they decide last year of high school.
meh.. everything was fine for 7 months since I worked there.. and everybody at work was friendly and the work conditions were awesome.. it was totally unexpected.

~4 million ppl, ~340000 unemployed and at least 1/3 who don't work and get pensions. Plus there is a big number of workers who work but don't get payed...
