Hi there,

Hopefully somebody has a solutions since I don't know what to do anymore. My copy of Pirates runs without sound (until I accept a ball invitation when it crashes).
Problem is there are no sound files in the game directory, although during installation it shown they are put in the assets directory. Never the less they are nowhere to be found and therefore I have no sound for the game. Anybody else encountered and solved this?

thanks

OK... I'll try to explain in other words.

When I install the game at some point the installer shows me plenty of *.wav files being copied into the gamedir\assets\music or sounds directory.
However when I start the game I have no sound whatsoever. No music, no speech, no effects, nothing.
When I check the assets directory (the one supposly containing the music and sounds directory) i can't find any sound files, nor the above mentioned sound directories.
I have winXp if that helps...
