Technically is a separate country, but in fact the Church directly intervenes politically, among other things, on everything is being decided here, from telephone tapping, embryology, morning-after pills, public hospitals, the decentralisation of the state, the new electoral law, public finances etc.
The Vatican has also received a tax exemption for all its properties (including hotels and other commercial enterprises).

Highly unlikely. I thought about it myself, and at one point I had an opinion similar to yours, but have changed my mind since. If you feel like killing yourself, you don't feel like doing anything else. You're depressed and you can't think about it rationally the way you are now, when you're in a non-depressed state.
It's like feeling incredibly hungry. You don't feel like getting drunk, you don't feel like fucking some random chick, you just want to EAT.
EDIT: I misread, because I though you were talking about suicide because of the img you posted. If that wasn't the case then just ignore me.
