While I think those shows are at least partially staged, it's really the parents' fault for not teaching their kids the value of money. It's of course easier to pamper and spoil your kids rather than teach them something worthwhile, but it bites you in the ass later on when they turn out to be worthless little shits like this. And at that point they're pretty much beyond salvaging.
