I just got my 360 flashed with ixtreme LT 1.0(samsung drive) and am wondering if games released are just "burn and go" or does any prior work need to be done on them beforehand? i'm mostly concerned about the stealth patching method and whether they should apply to only backups of games you've bought or scene releases too. just wanna know for sure before piling up the coasters since the 360 faq above doesn't explain if it applies to all games regardless of the source or not and i would post there but my last post was from feb 09 which went unanswered so yeah..

imgburn need to know layerbreak settings, so you need to choose the .dvd file to burn the ISO. or you could just download 360 burner, and burn the ISO

It's usually a good idea to run the images through the abgx program prior to burning. It's free and always checks the images for proper "stealth." Scene releases are usually good to go, but I still run em through abgx.

I also recommend running the iso through abgx before burning. I had 2 bad extracts already that would have resulted in a bad burn. If you don't play online, and don't ever intend to, or have a console that is already flagged/banned, there is no point in using ABGX. Just download burn and play. On the other hand though, if you have a console that is good to use online (latest LT firmware (LT+1.1)), you shouldn't play any games prior to the official release date, and you should always scan your downloaded images on ABGX360, for proper fixing the stealth.

alright thx... managed to burn my first game and played it fine. though i'll probably never play online it'll probably suck if i get banned so i might as well go through the motions each time.
