Story
Long ago, a war was waged between the Vile God and the Goddess. Both forces were equally matched, and sealed each other into another world using a special weapon imbued with their powers. And so, time passed. The weapons that the Goddess and the Vile God left were called "Furies," and those who
used them were called "Fencers.“ Furies were rumored to grant any wish to those who collected them all, and because of those rumors, Fencers were constantly in battle against each other to collect the Furies. By chance, a young man named Fang came to save a girl named Tiara, who turned out to be a
Fencer. From that day forward, Fang found himself an important part of the battle between the Vile God and the Goddess.
Key Features
- The world of Fencers and fairies gets updated with a 1080p graphic overhaul! Fairizing never looked so good.
- With a hero more interested in his next meal and a fairy partner who will have none of it, this saving-the-world narrative is injected with oodles of madcap humor!
- Increase the Tension gauge in battle by dealing and receiving damage. The higher it is, the more damage you’ll dish. Once it’s high enough, you’ll be able to Fairize – combining with your fairy to create a super-powerful form!
- Find fairies to join you in your quest – only they can grant you special abilities, and by leveling them up you’ll also increase your effect radius in…
- Pull Furies from the Goddess and Vile God and place your fairies in them. You can then stab those Furies into the world map for new effects in nearby dungeons like EXP boosts or enemy changes - be careful though, because not all effects are good!

I just wish we'd get some of the TRUE big boys from the players like TriAce, Atlus and Level-5. It's one thing getting the niche offshoot titles like Fairy Fencer F and Hyperdimension Neptunia, but I'd really like to get some of the mega titles too.

Too bad though, because then i could force myself to play through those games and to lower my backlog a bit
They are pretty nice for B-tier JRPGs had way more fun with them then with some A-tier JRPGs lately (FFXIII *cough*). You can just ignore the moe stuff, although the graphics look great. The real surprise is that the combat system is like the one in Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, combined with a quest system and structure reminiscent of Monster Hunter and Atelier Rorona. None of the game takes itself any seriously and it's just amusing and fun to use.
Fairy Fencer is almost the same but with a different setting and a bit more story driven.
I've never heard of Neptunia, but after playing the first i finished the second too and the game's surprisingly pretty good. Series humor is "japan-type" good and the gameplay can be pretty addictive.
If it's the same type of gameplay, bring it on!

Battle system like DQ is from fairy or cute girls doing cute things neptunia?
All of them Neptunia uses this Battle system since Victory (which is the next remake as Re Birth 3) Fairy Fencer uses a similiar system with some minor tweaks looks like this:
Need to check out neptunia, since I brushed it off because of the cute girls doing cute things. I did the same thing with Gakkou Gurashi and was wow'd.

Lol yeah me 2 didn't read the manga and the first episode was one big troll loved the reveal what the show is really about at the end.
Some screens, looks like it supports any available screen resolution but it's limited to 16:9 only so instead of 2880x1800 it became 2880x1620 but other than that I haven't noticed any issues, should have checked whether it was 60 or 30 FPS come to think of it.
(EDIT: It's 60)
Spoiler:
(No you aren't supposed to lose that first battle, I just wanted to see if they said something funny for such a spectacular fail, speaking of that the English VO's are pretty squeaky or how to say so I'll have to see if one can't change that to JP or something.)
(EDIT: Yeah you can.)
for some reason when running around the fps fluctate between 45-60
Try setting winxp sp3 compatibility mode that worked for me.
This one should also work a bit better then the Neptunia games on AMD cards since it uses a new d3d9 engine the one in the Neptunia games was opengl.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
