I have had issues with this before, but with the "aggressive" take over banner that is used, whenever they (adultfriendfinder) have server problems a new page takes 45 seconds to load on nfohump. It is very evidient in the activity bar that it is the banner acting up. I do realize advertising is needed (which is why I never use adblock for example) but can they have a less aggressive banner or at least tell them to get their server straight if they are going to use that format.

Use adblock.
It's been mentioned to the admins several times that the ad is an insult to the users here, so they can go fuck themselves for ad revenue for all I (and you should) care.

I actually tried adblock when I was having issues, but still the same timeout problem. Maybe thee are some settings I can fiddle around with. Seems site is a little more normal now though.
EDIT - scratch that, it's bad as hell. But does adblock help you?

Well actually they could still that banner in there BUT

This code is INFRONT of the content and it seems as if there is not an asynchronous request so we have to wait until that damn ad is loaded.
ADMINS please just move that code to the bottom of the source and the problem will be gone

Wth are you talking about?! Google adblock for whatever browser you're using install and you'll have no problem whatsoever.
I had no problem with adblock on ff and now on chrome...

Nope i have the same problems sometimes. I never ever see the ad because its blocked but sometimes the site just won't load because it still wants to contact the banner first ??

Its really bad tonight, takes like 30 seconds everytime i want to open a page in teh forum cause its trying to connect to adultfriendfinder, and yes i do have adblock.

I don't think that anyone here has ever tried it, we're probably not that desperate (yet) 
Maybe the admins can tell us more...or they've simply assumed that since the typical NFOrce user is a horny nerd, that genre of site is the most suitable choice, implicitly trying to help us?

or ask rinze to move the script down in the source code, right below the footer, so that the forum will work even if the banner is not loading.

I guess no one gives a FUCK about this feedback section. Still the same problems and ad block does not help when there is a problem with AFF server.
I mean this is a simple fix. Get with the program admins.
