Yep that is the question: Someone who thinks he is funny or someone who is actually funny.

Colbert all the way. His humor actually makes me laugh and you can see he's loving it.
Stewart show went to shit and it just stopped being funny.

One show is for highschool students and the other is for highschool students who think they're better than you because they smoke more pot than you and get a blow job from their pet cat.

I mean.. the audience laughs at the shit munn says and it's just... i wanted to blow my brains out after watching one recent episode. Colbert is just funny.

Colbert, completely agree with Waldo.

Stewart's jokes are very drawn out and punctuated by facial expressions that won't make a baby laugh, yet his audience is eating it up. IMO his social commentary is good, but very low on laughs. His team is a lot better imo, and make me laugh a lot more than he does, too bad they have so little air time. John just looks like a stuck up snot, who thinks he is so much better, and knows what is the best.

Colbert is just flat out funny, and doesnt hold any punches. A lot of his jokes are subtle, that make you laugh few seconds after. His social commentary is just perfectly blended with humor, thus making him a better comedian and a lot more enjoyable to watch.

And dont get me started on their interviews. Most of the time John is sucking somebody's cock while interviewing them, afraid to ask tough questions and just generally does a lot of brown nosing (his Obama interview for example). Colbert on the other hand, grills anyone, at the same time keeping the humor at the maximum. When John's interviews come up, i know the funny has just ran out.

Laughing

This reminds me of an Israeli parody show; there was a poll some years ago, and 70% of the asked said they get their actual news from that show and believe almost everything depicted there as truth. Laughing

Hell like 70% of the youth get their news from The Daily Show at this point, he offers an opinion that seems logical, hence why those rallys drew so many people. In America we have so few sources of news that present itself in that format, Watching Stewart is like being hit with cool air in the face after a hot day.

Edit: Nothing to do with the poll..but I think my favorite moment was the Obama election, both of them were trying to talk all choked up (dual show) as the last of the polls came up. I think half of the country cried while we realized the step we made. 10 minutes later it all just got retarded again.

A few weeks later some of the news channels tried to get back at them for once saying HAHA you cried emotionfags. Of course, Stewart, being his usual troll master got back and that saying, Yes, How dare we normal humans express emotion!!!!

I found Jon Stewart funnier when Bush was still in office. That guy at least provided enough material to be ridiculed. Very Happy Something else that annoys me a little is that Stewart sometimes forgets to articulate, as a non native English speaker it's kinda hard to understand his mumbling.

I think I might agree on Colbert being more funny overall Razz

I just prefer Stewart, I think he is better and more insightful. Especially in his interviews with non-comedians.
