I could hook up to Netflix with my xbox if I made a US account, maybe he can do something similar?

Heh, odd that they wouldn't block something so obvious. Are there any decent european equivalents to Netflix? Paid proxy would work too of course, if that xbox trick doesn't work / he doesn't have one.

Legally? what does it mean?! Razz

We had (and probably still have) some on demand services here, but they didn't take off as expected, since everybody used to either download movies illegally or watch them directly in cinemas Smile

I've been to some guy's home here and he had a microPC (you know, the Nvidia ION based) the size of a book attached to his TV (the new TV models have special attachement places on the rear for HTPCs) with XBMC installed and he had Netflix on it through proxy. And the whole thing was controlled remotely from an Ipad Smile

Asking for legal downloads! Mad Should be a bannable offense imo. Just like asking for torrentz on movie boards.

I can't stop laughing everytime I see someone asking for a torrent link on the Imdb forums Laughing

+1

Doing things legally is actually harder than doing it illegally.

I've gotta give it to Hulu, they've decreased my pirate activity by at least 50%, always have good TV shows and always adding decent movies.

I think there is only Maxdome availabe, and Itunes, but I don't know how big their library is.

All other sites would have to be used with a proxy, most block traffic from Germany.
