It's seems a good time to get a list of some decent PS3 games, I've only had it since xmas and haven't been paying too much attention to the consoles over the years
So far I have
GT5 - came with the console
FIFA 11 - came with the console
Bayonetta - loved DMC so I had to try this
GoW 3 - Got the rest so I needed to get this
Demon's Souls - In the post, not got it yet
I've got my eye on
Uncharted 1&2
Infamous
Heavy Rain
Metal Gear Solid 4
Red Dead Redemption - since there's still no mention of a pc release
Yakuza 3
and maybe the Ninja Gaiden Sigma games
I'm hoping theres more good games out there, anybody want to name some?

Those are the ones you should get
Uncharted 1&2
Infamous
Heavy Rain
If you like watching cut scenes more than playing a game than you might like Metal Gear Solid 4.
Also Killzone 2 and soon to be release 3
Resistance 1 and 2
Lair if you're into Dragon stuff. Got a bad score but game got quite descent after being patched.
Theres probably more but im only mentioned exclusive titles sicne i dont know if you have a 360.

Must have titles not mentioned above:
- The Show (if you like baseball)
- Castlevania Lords of Shadow (imo much better than GOW3)
- The Ratchet and Clank Series especially Tools Of Destruction and Crack in time
- Motorstorm Pacific Rift
- Valkyria Chronicles (Great turn-based Rpg with real time battles too, highly addictive, superb story,if you played Silent Storm on pc this is a must have title for you)
- Eternal Sonata (My favourite one.Also turn-based rpg, music is excellent-> classical Chopin score)

Metal Gear Solid 4 is still the game that impressed me most...like 'ever'.

1:UNCHARTED 2
2:Red dead redmp.
3:God of war 3
4:Heavy rain
5:Heavenly sword\Infamous
MGS4 too, filled with epic cutscenes and music, but there is almost no gameplay.

Vanquish was awesome, and Skate 3 is an excellent game to "pick up and play" every now and then, or when you just want to chill out and laugh at the hilarious physics for example.
