yeah, its worth it. Their website sells them for 250 dollars so good deal.

Well, I say it's worth it but that's only if you're going to use it. If you've already got an xbox and aren't bothered by the exclusives on the PS3 then no, it's not worth it. And it depends on the exclusives as well imo, most are shite.

do u have 65nm or 90nm chip?
if 90nm then u either lucky or u don't play much

ps3 with ps2 support 90nm chip 70% failure, who knows how it was used, besides it might not even have a wifi

http://www.hardcoreware.net/playstation-3-model-guide/

i'd pay extra and get a slim, chances are u won't even play ps2 games at all Laughing

I don't think it's worth it. Hell a 250 GB 360 HDD is $129 USD at Best Buy. It would totally be worth it if you already owned a PS3, but that much for a hard drive is nuts!

Just walk into any place that repairs consoles and you will see.

Like 10% is xbox rest is all ps3 with dead lasers/ylod.

the one on sale doesn't have wifi but it'd be mainly for offline gaming.. like gt5 and some 3d capable games and what not.

That's just because the RROD is quite easily fixed, where as the dead lasers cost much money to repair. Just because they have much X360's lying around doesn't mean they don't fail much.

I have had two 360's go on me, my PS3 is two years old and going strong.

My mates had 3 Xbox 360's two have gone wrong, hes on his third same as me and his PS3 is still the original one he bought on release day.

I know the lazers can go on them ( might just be the older ones ) but quality wise I think they are much better than Mircosoft, most people would agree on that I think.

I think the best quality maching is the Wii, my kids have dropped it, shoved pennies in it and made it fall on its side and the damned thing still lives.

Yeah, but that is also because the inside is as powerful as a TI-82 calculator and built for a younger audience so no surprise there. Wink

As powerfull as that, I wonder what the games are going to look like when they use the full power.

I've got one of the early 60GB backwards compatible PS3's, it still works and haven't had any problems with it. One year warranty is allright for an PS3 that 'old'.
