Hey, i'm basically just wondering if you could recommend the best software within these two areas. the dictionairy attack would be in swedish. I'm a bit new at this but i am in need of opening this specific file as it's quite old and has a text file which i need. Yes I know it was stupid to forget the password, now I just need someone to point me in the right direction.

Thanks. Btw, the dictionairy would have to be in swedish.

Answered your email, but will post it here as well.

Best bet is to check WBB for a ZIP cracker and read the feedback to see that the app is legit. You usually have to provide either a dictionary or a character map from which to generate the strings for the brute-farce attack. Smile
