It was certainly great because I finally had no roommate. After 5 years of living in a dorm with them I was sicking of sharing everyfuckingthing and their annoying habits.

Thought I might feel alone after 5 years living with someone, but hell no, it was awesome.

Well maybe it's just me, during the first three years of university I used to live with two friends in a 60m^2 apartment Razz

Rents are absolutely exorbitant here, especially in the bigger cities Crying or Very sad

Soon I'll move out too but won't be alone for too long Smile

The rent in FFM is ridiculously high Sad You have to pay 900€ to live in an ok place (80m², somewhere that is reachable with trains and busses)... Or pay 700€ and live in a shithole far away from anywhere where you MUST use a car to get anywhere! Sad

I heard that sweden is a good place for muslims to go. Maybe I'll take my fiancee and go over there and make some muslim babies Cool Face

Is FFM actually a nice place to live in Lulzi? It's quite multi-cultural and I'm happy that this doesn't mean 50% turks, 20% lebanese and 30% german but some real amount of asians, africans and europeans... oh and some germans Laughing

when i was only here on visits i really disliked it. But living in frankfurt has made me really like the city. I m living in the south near the university clinic, so it s not optimal but it s a nice quiet and cozy place.

If you're 24, then it was DEFINITELY time to move out Razz

Congrats anyhow Smile

I myself pay around 520 EUR for 65 square meters (that's 700 sq.feet) all in all (water, electricity, heating and a parking space).

Now split that in two, since my GF lives here, we split it of course Very Happy

62m^2 here.

First few days alone were kind of weird, but after that I just am thoroughly enjoying myself. So good to go home and have peace and quiet.

Enjoy it man, once you move in with a madame you won't have that freedom anymore.
