Well, I wasn't trying to troll haha. I actually would like to get it but I don't see any games with a review score > 7.5. I'm always down to try new hardware for new games.
I got it much cheaper than the price elswhere in Norway, I got it for just about 1000 NOK.
anyway, fuck it. Its not the end of the world looking like an idiot. besides, might be nice at parties
I also like your shape but yeah right now only this, adventures, sports and dance central are worthy to be played. I want the next gears of war to incorporate this. Imagine playing with the controller but doging like in kinect sports <- that would be AWESOME!
Oh and its finally something EVERYONE wants to play, had a non gaming crowd over this weekend and everyone had a blast.
But again I need something with substance soon, Minigames are only fun for a certain amount of time. Something like Mario party would also work great with this...
For me it's the price and the lack of games. I know our daughter would love the kinectimals (or whatever it is called?). But at this pricerange it's not worth it. Hopefully it will drop a little in price and by then we will also see if some quality games has came out.
I was thinking of one as an option for a xmas gift for the GF - but, how much space do you need to use it? Are all games "full body movement"-required? She has her 360 in the bedroom, so no room to jump around really.
Or are there/will there be games that you can just play with you arms, style?
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc
really depends on the game. You need a lot of space for kinect adventures, because most of the minigames you got to use hands and feet rapidly. And with little space you would probably hit each other. I have connected it to the 360 that I use on my grandparents 40" samsung. A lot more space. up there. Kinect adventures will sort of calibrate your space, and you can choose "good" or "great" space. We got "great" space upstairs if it wasnt for that fucking stove! I keep hitting it when playing the 10.000 leaks minigame
But for Joy ride you don't really need that much space. Crossboard 7, a little more
But best of all are bowling in kinect sports! Take turns to play, up to 4 players. Its pretty damn cool and takes very little space obviously.
