EA’s high octane take on cops and robbers, racing game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, is now available ahead of its console release on iPhone and iPod touch.
The iPhone app features 15 cars and 24 career events. As a cop, you’ll have a toyset of tools to lay down the law, including roadblocks and electrical system frying EMP locks. You can also continue your feud with a friend, as the game offers up local multiplayer over wi-fi and Bluetooth.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit features Retina display on the latest devices, but is compatible with all iPhone and iPod touch gadgets.

Yeah its a nice racer. Looks sweet on the iPhone 4. Id prefer the option to turn off the tilting to steer though! Maybe they will add that in an update since a few people have already requested it on the Appstore
