Countries with small population and that old money = more rich people. Luxembourg is at the top of the list for a reason...

Not too surprising, though I would have expected Japan to pull in a little higher on the list with their booming culture

The reason Luxembourg is at the top is because many people from neighbouring countries go there to work but don't live there. GDP goes up, population stays the same.

GDP per capita is a pointless statistic. Unless you are comparing two countries with a large difference in gdp/capita. For example, you can say with some certainty that a person living in Luxemborg is better-off than someone living in Burundi.

And Norway is NOT in the European Union. And they're better off. I've often thought of retaking my Norwegian citizenship and move there. Since I had Norwegian citizenship at birth all I need to do is get an address in Norway to get my citizenship back, no other requirements. Smile

Sigh..I'm jealous as shit...I wanna get outta the US. Even saying this is a violation of the ability to get a passport. Onoes I'm tired of your shit America.. guess I'm a terrorist.

Edit: I love the land.. I love America in its essence.. I love my Indian Tribe.. But i'm like 60% tired of the crap. I think i've been watching too much Stargate.. feels like there should be something more out there. For every time I hear God Bless America I get another .30% onto that. I avoid watching the news because it pushes the percent up too fast Razz

I take it you live on a reservation?

If thats the case then i'd want to get the fuck out as well. Most reservations are poverty stricken shitholes.

I did for quite a while in WA state, yeah..it's not so good, but that's less the modern governments fault than the Indians.. I swear half of them would work for 2 weeks just to get enough money to survive off for a while..buy booze etc off res..then quit. Once they needed more money they'd apply for another job and get it instantly for the companies EOE credit. Either way.. (God Forbid) Once my mom visits the great whoever in the sky as I am taking care of her, I believe I will head over to the EU. I'm not sure how hard it is to nationalize over there, but i'm game.

Not real sure i'd like to move to canada. I can't say I know alot about them, but in my limited perception, feels like America Jr, and I'd rather just get off the entire continent.

no way... luxemburg has the best fiscal policy of whole europe. a lot of europeans place a lot of money in luxemburg. many holding companies of big american, asian and european corporations are located in luxemburg for this specific reason.
