Once a powerful lawyer, Billy McBride is now burned out and washed up, spending more time in a bar than a courtroom. When he reluctantly agrees to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit against the biggest client of Cooperman & McBride, the massive law firm he helped create, Billy and his ragtag team uncover a vast and deadly conspiracy, pitting them all in a life or death trial against the ultimate Goliath
The show has been commissioned with a straight-to-series order of 10 episodes and is set to premiere on October 14, 2016 on Amazon Video
I've finished it. It's mediocre, while there are bunch of good actors there, the plot itself doesn't seem to accommodate them well. BBT is good as always. I was expecting a more logical and "mature" law series, but it turned out to be predictable and totally unrealistic in terms of how law is practiced. On the good side, there are some good laughs.
My opinion might be less valued than tonina's but I hope it helps you.
6 episodes in and so far it's a solid 7+ \7.5. The story is nothing special but it is well made and acted and kinda "old-fashioned", like good TV shows used to be in 90s.I might change my mind depending on how things go.

It doesn't bother you that law practice is completely unrealistic? I mean, not slightly off like movies usually do - but completely unreliable?

Spoiler:
Why go through all the trouble that the "bad" guys go through, if you could just kill BBT and that chick with the black van, both at once?
I'm not a lawyer so I know nothing of these things. Besides, things don't have to be "realistic".
Spoiler:
They missed? It was really close, the woman got a little behind him for a second
Anyways, I've finished it and I lower my rating from 7.5 to 7. The show does have problems with writing and it gets messy in the last few episodes, but overall it was enjoyable enough for me at least the first half of the season.
It's more or less the same writing-wise, however, the last episodes were really good and I liked how they ended this season. So, in general, I'd say this season is better than the first one, although the first half of it is not that interesting.
Season 2 is terrible. Why couldn't Kelley just do a proper legal drama, like he used to in the old days? Season 1 was much better. In this season, McBride has become a moron who is pulled by the nose where the plot needs him to be. Terrible.
