My sons "female" friend decided to move his xbox 360 while on and while Halo Reach was in drive onto the floor at a 45 degree angle to get at the ottoman below..
Now it has a slight laser burn thats been to shop and polished etc as he said its nowhere near bad as some hes done. It still dont work , just goes to logo and sits there, or says open tray after a bit of a noise when spinning, nothing major noise wise but not normal im sure.. (all other games working fine)
ive done a few tricks but nothing working not even a normal wipe with rag.. Anyone had any success fixing such a problem or is it 40 notes down the shitter, game wont take it back said they cant its ur consoles fault end of day not they're fault..

sounds silly but try car wax. it will work. you may have to repeat it. don't use something stupid like cutting compound as that will scratch the disc. just regular car wax. they also make disc resurfacers for that kind of problem but i don't know how well they will work.
