Team 17 has announced that 2001's classic turn-based murder-'em-up will return as Worms World Party Remastered. It's due to be released next month, on July 8.
This edition will feature remastered graphics and enhanced sound effects, alongside controller support, Steam Leaderboards, Steam Achievements and cloud saves. See below for a trailer that summarises what I've just written around footage of worms blowing each other up.
Worms World Party Remastered will cost £11/$15/€13.

Good they have not changed graphics... but there should be some alternative live switch to remaster graphics... this is just lazy to only add 16:9 and call it remaster

I would be satisfied if the "remastering" was just a compatibility patch for new hardware / windows version to be honest. Despite all the "tricks" and amateur fixes that float around the net it never ran properly for me after win xp. And it doesn't need a graphical/engine update imho, the new 2d ones they made are quite bad, they fucked up the physics, they're much more loose and inprecise than the ones made with the wa/wwp engine.
