I heard/ read somewhere that all the new Yakuza will be turn based, but I can only hope. And the previous one was quite successful, so I fear it will be the case for this one too.

Fuck yeah! Yakuza 6 was my favourite of the series, a new one that will look better (Y6 on console is 60fps but doesn't look so hot), awesome news! Yakuza 6 ending was perfect for me and i wonder how the plot will continue. No way this is also turn-base, i guess maybe this is replacing Judgement as the classic combat while the numbered games will be turn-base.
Why hasn't the oil wrestling mini-game from Yakuza 0 returned? That was the only one of the bunch worth a damn.

VA in Judgment was just fine. It wouldn't win any awards, mind you, but leagues ahead of German voice-actors speaking English in games of old like Gothic and Risen, from what I recall.

I have nothing against English dubs in Japanese games, but I won't be playing this with the dub because I don't want to listen to Yong "reading 3rd party articles word for word and then saying i agree every now and then is ace content" Yea voice Kiryu.
I dunno what it is, but for some weird reason the game kinda looks/feels ugly and cheap.
Maybe it's the lighting, but it feels like 7 and Judgment looked better? I dunno, just feels grimy or something. Also that new font they have for enemy introductions sucks.
Writing's pretty retarded which is par the course, but hope it picks up soon.
