looks a pretty descent filmfrom the trailer,forgiving the dodgy cgi though will depend how good/shit the movie is while watching.
also the trailer reminded me to rewatch the last western setting asian film i saw a while back,

Just seen a preview. Really strange mix of almost-internets-grade humour (one sequence) with a parody of epic black and white samurai movies and 300-like fight scenes. Actually fight scenes are the only REALLY good thing about this movie but they hardly last more than 15 minutes. Kate Bosworth is there, yes, fully clothed and just cute, that's all.
But there's still some epic stuff like Yang shot with motion control in a small typical western saloon/hotel room cuttings heads and limbs off or cutoff hands still shooting a gatling machine gun from the floor Obvious ripoffs from Equilibrium spotted (Yand evading bullets in close combat).
Anyway once again it balances between 300, drama, comedy and old samurai movies without really tipping into one of them. It should've tipped into comedy, I guess, but drama moments are oddly too serious.
Good movie to watch drunk or stoned with friends but nothing truly epic.
