My 360's dvd drive has become very unreliable; it's taking ages now before it boots an RW disc. So I'm wondering, is there any way to play a copied dvd off USB storage media? The idea is to get the Xbox to read Video_TS folders or dvd iso's, like any normal software dvd player would on your computer.
Of course I could convert the dvds to WMV format, but that's a bit awkward and time consuming. Especially if you're on a Mac.

Well I've solved it myself... by digging up a 6 year old standalone dvd player. That thing reads everything, even dirty and scratched discs. So much for the X360's dvd drive I guess.
