I don't quite understand why you can't create 1:1 copies of PS2 games that is playable with no mod chip?

I heard that it has something do do with the disc that original discs have some type of scrambled data that a burner can't replicate, but in PC games rls groups crack the game in order to overcome such obstacles.

Is it impossible to replicate this copy protection so that the PS2 can run a copied game?

If this is a stupid question don't bother pointing that out, cause I don't know how this works.

something like that... the start of the disc has some data on or something that the PS2 checks.

PC Games are different, they have copy protections. PS2 games do not have copy protections its just you need a chip to skip the Part where the PS2 checks for the little bit of data at the start of the disc.
