Meh. SS1&2 are oooooold games that everyone that was interested in them must have bought them already (and/or their HD remakes), and Double D was given in another bundle.

So it's just Random Encounter, which apparently wasn't good at all.

Now if it was the HD remakes they were giving away.. that would be cool (but I own them anyway).

Actually...
i.imgur.com/SotVS.png

Serious Sam
RoboBlitz
Storm in a Teacup
Eversion

are the 4 games present in the next bundle. The SS bundle is "one" of the four games (like Blackwell legacy bundle in the earlier IR bundle).

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Those Royale bundles are getting weaker and weaker. I wonder how long it takes until the market is saturated and all those bundles aren't selling anymore.

With so many scumbags only paying 1 cent for them, you can hardly blame the devs for not wanting to put any quality titles into those bundles.

Wrong, Indie Royale bundles always have minimum price above $2.

Have you forgot you're on a forum for pirates? Lets not go down that path of what's right and wrong.

Didn't play SS Kamikaze Attack, The Greek Encounter and I want the original SS games just for kicks. Oh, and split-screen support which HD remakes don't have.

btw. To change to custom resolution in SS The Firsts/Second Encounter classic edit Scripts/Game_startup.ini and insert two lines

sam_iScreenSizeI = 1024;
sam_iScreenSizeJ = 768;

replacing 1024x768 with your desired resolution

this bundle is probably somekind of an advertising for the coming of seriuos sam 2 on steam which will happen this week i think
the bundle itself is okay with those ss tfe and tse which are prety expensive on steam

The only part of these bundles I like is the variety. Defeats the purpose when it's all serious sam games

And I'm sure that a bunch of those additional sales would have been people paying 1 cent, which they would lose money on every single time (because of transaction fees).

The number of sales doesn't really matter. What really matters, is how much actual money they bring in. They'd rather make more money on fewer sales by having a minimum price, than do whatever is necessary to sell as many copies as possible. If the way they do it now wasn't working out well for them, then they wouldn't keep doing it that way. Stop assuming that you're so much smarter than them.

Whether or not they're "good" is up to the subjective opinion of each individual person, so you can only answer that question for yourself, and no one else. Personally, I've bought them all, and found them all to be great value. Gemini Rue, Sanctum, Nuclear Dawn, Super Crossfire, Scoregasm, Really Big Sky, and others have all made the bundles more than worth it, to me.
