I'd ditch the H5O and upgrade that slow GPU.
Also 4gb ddr dual channel for that system not 6gb tri channel.
32gb is tight as hell for OS and app installs.
For all the gain you can get from such a small drive your as well booting from a cheaper standard HDD.
Is the system intended to play games?

Then your upgrade is a complete waste of cash for such a small performance change.

Then what should I go for instead if I really want to do a step up? My E6750 is at stock speed. The 5750 is my by looking at benchmarks a whole lot faster than my 8800GT.
An i3 at 4ghz stable, 8 gigs of DDR3 PC12800, SSD and an 5750 - this isn't significantly faster than my old setup? I'm surprised, to say the least!

It's faster just not enough faster to justify all the cash you would be spending.
The bennefit of 8gb ram over 4gb is next to nothing under normal circumstances and not worth it in your case it seems.
If i was you, i would be looking at a good quad chip and a HD5770 minimum for a step up.
You could maybe add a SSD and OC your E6750 to 3.6ghz~ and upgrade your graphics for now?
You should be able to re-use your PSU and HDD to save cash.

My W7 eats up disk as a crazy whore I dunno why I have only <2 GB free from 40GB :\
You should go with 5770 if you want the best mid range card (the price difference is minimal between 5750 and 5770, and 5830 costs too much for what you get) and I can't see the usage of three sticks of ram when you don't have the option of running them in triple channel mode (only i7 has that ability iirc).
Oh and I assume you have external HD or sth alike for storage and stuff...

Another Q - would 550W PSU be enough for this, or is 650W preferred?

Where will you be buying components?
Had a quick google for the SSD you chose.. seems like a bad choice.
Bad performance and critically no trim support.

Go for 4GB RAM or ditch the SSD and buy an i5. The i5 is a brilliant CPU for its price.

Now if only you could throw ~$30 more for a 460 GTX...

The Sparkle GeForce GTX 460 768MB is a reasonably priced alternative, is it better than the 5770? |
The 460 is a bright sparkle in a dark tunnel for nV.

Yeah. If you can afford the 460GTX 1GB then go for that, otherwise the 768 is better than a 5770 as well.

Ditched the H50 for now, replaced the SSD with an Intel 40gb one, replaced the 5770 with a GTX460, so heres the list as of right now:
Fractal Design Define R2 case
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3
Intel Core i5 750, 2.66GHz
Corsair 8GB (4x2048MB) 1600MHz XMS3
Sparkle GeForce GTX 460 768MB
Fractal Design Tesla 650W 80+
40GB 2.5" SSD Intel X25-V G2 SATA
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

What do you need the SSD for? Better to invest in proper cooling.

No one asked the most important question. What will you use it for? Depending on usage 8GB and SSD might be usueful. I personally would go for 4GB and ditch teh SSD drive. SSD HDD is still in its infancy, not a good time to get one.

Alright, the SSD was there mostly because it felt "nice to have", but yeah, screw it.
Also, 8gb is out and replaced with 4gb. And the H50 is back, so I can run 4ghz on that i5 750
The mobo is also replaced, since im going Nvidia, I want SLi and not Crossfire But how is ASRock these days? I've built one PC, for my sister that used a ASRock board, when cash was low, and that was years ago, and it still works perfectly. But they are cheaper for a reason I guess... ?
Latest list:
Intel Core i5 750, 2.66GHz
Asrock P55 Deluxe3
Corsair 4GB (2x2048MB) 1600MHz DOMINATOR DHX
Sparkle GeForce GTX 460 768MB
Fractal Design Tesla 650W 80+
Fractal Design Define R2
Corsair Cooling Hydro H50
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

You sure the previous motherboard didn't support SLI as well? Some modern motherboards have support for both SLI and CF.

Oh
Well, according to Gigabyte's website, none of their motherboards support SLI.
