(I guess Sergei Grigorovich managed to get investors at E3 since he started the promotion for the game a short time before E3 2018.)

The homepage for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 only says stalker 2 - 2021 at the moment, like the picture in the first post.

Nah, they didn't split the first one up on purpose (a la SC2). They simply made stand-alone expansions/sequels.

Scheduled for 2012. Maybe the world ends before we see this game hit the shelves.

Cool Face

...yeah why not?

Kiev would be just perfect for giving the players a static, streamlined and more linear experience, restricting them to smaller areas in which the new STALKER-Suit-1.0® will have an easy job at shutting down hordes of low-IQ enemies.

CoP was great and the proper sequel should be too

I can't see how this is going to work on consoles, maybe they plan different games and not a STALKER

Established success strategy 101:

1. Make great hardcore PC game
2. Watch reputation and publicity skyrocket
3. Make dumbed down console sequels
4. Profit

I can think of several studios that have followed this formula.

5. fail miserably

that's how they all end up, they turn their backs on pc gamers who in turn never buy their games again, the console peasants turn their back on them when the next Halo comes out and they are left with no customers.

Well ladies and gents, get ready to play half the game that was Stalker.
Time to remove inventory, that's only for nubs anyway. Don't need to pick up all that junk such as food and drinks either, only for RPG fags.
Ohh, did you like wide and open spaces in the previous titles? Well fuck you, now we have shiny new corridors for you...

Enjoy S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 : Revenge of the Derp

It's a SHIT world. If you're to survive, you gotta make moneyz. If the game turns out to be good, I won't be giving a rat's asshole whether it's made its way to the fucking consoles or not.
Wow, the CEO threw a single word, and now the game (which hasn't even a single concept-art shot yet) isn't even worth for the trash can.

Because unfortunetly the word (or words) multi-platform is a assosiated with dumbing down and making a good game crap. I hope that won't be the case but my motto concerning these matters is; hope for the best, expect the worst.

They didn't earn any money at all with 4 million+ sales. Games cost like 5000 millionzzz to makez!!

Do you know why what you said is happening? Because the same shit has happened to hundreds of games and not a single one has not been dumbed down to shit when it went multiplat.

It's in the nature of people to want more. To make more money regardless of the stability of their current source of income. I don't blame them. Even though I share the same fears with you that the game can be eventually dumbed down. Let's judge the game when more info surfaces out. It's like shooting in the dark right now ...

No, it's more of an educated guess. We might be guessing, but those guesses are based on facts from similar cases.

You know what an educated guess is right? If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a .. ? Goose?

Bioshock and Fallout 3, just the top of my head...

Edit:
Splinter Cell: Conviction, Battlefield: Bad Company, CoD: Modern Warfare 2.

I'm just basing my opinions right now on what I see from previous experiences. Seriously, can anyone remember any instance of a game going multiplatform improving itself? I have a hard time even remembering games that stay the same in quality once they jump ship.
