Guys maybe the game is full but i heared it's a beta or something, maybe nothing is missing but if somebody know , plz tell me ^^

well judging by the size, 95 files, its enough for 2 dvds so i m pretty sure its the full game. if its a beta the only thing that can be missing is that not all of the jap text was tranlated into english yet, but i m pretty sure that all gameplay and cutscenes are intact.

I guarantee this is a beta. The ENG ver is due for retail release in February.

yea its probably a beta but it depends on what a beta it is, maybe its already fully translated into english but theyre still not sure what scenes to cut out or to alter for the us market, so it could be that this beta could be the best us version of the game available.

It is VERY beta... surprised it's not nuked.
Some of the text just says *DELETED**DELETED**DELETED**DELETED**DELETED*.
After playing for a little while some of the dialogue is japanese.
The game is unstable and freezes occasionally at points.
FMVs are missing.
After a certain point the game crashes and you can't go any farther. (so don't expect to be able to complete it)
Anyway, it's a beta if I've ever seen one.

id like to know why none of the nfo sites have this release nuked. not one site ive seen has this listed as a beta or nuked...they all say its the full dvd. even the nfo from the release group says its not nuked....the only people that actually claim theres anything wrong is the public.......wtf is going on with these releases lately... groups actually used to care about their releases.....now these no-name groups appear and release some BS beta and claim its a fulldvd retail release.
now before a bunch of pre-pubescent children waiting for their testicles to drop start flaming about "dont d/l it then" or "be happy with what you get"..... think about why the release groups that survive and have earned respect have done with their releases. this seems like they received a beta somewhere and never even played it...they just released it hoping it was what they thought it was....sorry boys...just another beta to bypass for a couple months till an actual retail is released.....save your dvds boys and girls...if your that desperate to play the game, you shouldve gotten the jpn version......

yea its pretty bad, i was so glad when i heard it was out and so disappointed when i heard it was a beta, i cant play it when it comes out in february cuz that's pre-graduation, aka lots of lots of hard finals, now it wouldve been so great if the game came out now and i could play it during the holidays, but no, these buttfuckers from HEAVEN punk'd me real bad, and for this they re gonna die a slow and painful death as soon as i find out where they live.

I am great xenogears/xenosaga fan and i always bought every game from this serie. I already have the japanses version of XS2. I only wonder if that rlz is interesting to get becaue playing this game in english could help me out to reallyunderstand the story. I am not a genius in japanese language.
Anyway, that's not a big deal i ll wait ferbruar , buy and play it when it comes out.

well this is also only the 1st disc released,
can anyone tell me how far i can play till it freezes?
or how far i can play till there s only jap voices and no more subtitles?

hmm i ve played ca, 6 hours up to now and have gotten to the URTV development center (encephalon), so far i ve only experienced a few missing subtitle lines which doesnt ever matter as the voices were always there.
no missing fmvs, no freezes, the only jap dialogue are the comments during the fights, which i couldnt care less about.
so far its a much better beta than most are, ok its only the first dvd but maybe HEAVEN is gonna release the 2nd sometimes later.
so to all the ppl saying it freezes and you cant continue playing after a certain point, where is that point?
UPDATE:
Its ok, I just got to the point where it freezes, its exactly when that boss in sakura's inner world does his special attack.
hmm i manage to deal him 1/4 HP damage before he initiates this attack so all i gotta do is level up like 20 levels and then beat him before he gets the chance of doing that.

Actually i got past the boss. it DO freeze but if you manage to get cosmos to kick him up in the air and then use the boost tactic i managed to beat down ALL of his hp before he touched the ground and hence it did not freeze.
afterwards it is some talk. you go back to the same thing again (although it is winter and a few chests on other places) alittle more talking. kick Albedos ass (HARD!!!!) and then alittle more talk and thats the end of disc 1.
so thats how it is anyway. didnt notice any missing FMVS or anything either. for a beta it is quite damn good.
