Are there any owners of this hdd? Is it good for gaming, is there big difference with generic hdd? And does it worth it's money?

As far as ive read its a decent disk but not as high performance change as you might expect from it.
Id say you should check in on some SSD discs before you make your decision

@ Paintface: he's referring to a Velociraptor.

@ Wicked666: no. It's not worth the money. It's 240 euros; for 140 euros you can get a 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 SSD, which is 5 times faster (if not more) than the Velociraptor. At 260 euros you can get a 120 GB version.

I suggest you check the big hardware thread though, neither Raptors nor SSD's are worth the investment right now. SSD's will become substantially cheaper over the next 6-12 months, part due to the technology getting better, part due to Samsung being able to make NAND cheaper by the month.

Unsure about the site but speaking about Samsung their continued improvements on their Spinpoint lineup looks quite impressive for a traditional HDD tough as it's single-platter disc-space isn't that high but it has other strengths like speed, energy and low sound.

Yeah should rather go for SSD if you gonna spend that kind of money
