This should be good,

Same company who made Steel Fury which is the best current WW2 Tank sim aside from the older Panzer Eilte. They also made T-72 Balkans on fire and Achtung Panzer which is a strategy game.I am kind of surprised that only 2 tanks are in this though.

If none of you do not know about these then your not really serious tank simmers.Go check em out. Laughing

Theres a video,

You can clearly see this is the same engine Steel Fury used but updated.Looks good!Smile

I'd rather see a well made tank simulator using just 2 different tanks than a shitty one with 100..

The combat locations and the choice of tanks is extremely exciting as far as I'm concerned. Survivability in modern campaigns often comes down to pure chance as there's just too many advanced can-openers on the modern battlefield. In fact military analysts is debating wheather the era of the main battle tank (MBT) is over. The future wil probablyl see light vehicles which will rely on speed and stealth to keep alive.

The locations in this game are medium- to low-tech battlezones which is where the MBT historically ruled. There won't be any Apaches or Warthogs hammering down droves of enemy tanks in seconds. I can't wait to dig into the Iran-Iraq war.

Now all we have to hope for is a sufficiently realistic simulator.

well, essentially the entire era of first world country warfare is over
beyond iran, i have a hard time imagining a scenario where two advanced countries would duke it out as the political ramifications would be too severe and the danger of escalation too high (and calling iran an advanced country next to nato forces is a stretch already)
tanks will remain useful as long as the enemy does not reach the same tech level

don´t worry about the "only" two tanks option. I´m sure mods will arise and add more tanks. That happens to "Steel Fury" (same developers) You can use the Steel Panzer 1.4 MOD (and very soon 1.5) and add tons of new units to the game... Also remember that the tanks will have cockpits with many details, you can see the crew inside loading the shells etc. I´m really exited too! Smile
