Can a PAL Xbox 360 Console with iextreme playback NTSC video disks?

No, you can't, sorry. Unless you JTAG, there's no way to change the region code inside the 360. Your best bet is to just rip your R1 DVDs and put the AVIs onto an external HDD .. play from there.

You're welcome, sorry it wasn't the answer you were looking for. Best bet? buy a cheapo £20 DVD player and find the unlock code for it online.. or go the hard, but infinitely more geeky (thus; win) route and follow my other suggestion; rip to AVI, stick on a large external HDD, have a whole collection of movies!

It's not for me..Razz For my dad's TV and hes too cheap to buy a £20 DVD player lol

er.. I think i'll burn a DVD with the AVIs on it then since the 360 has the codec pack update and i think it can handle a burnt avi disc (hopefully) lol.

Since when is ps3 region free on dvds? only games are.

Since when is ps3 region free on dvds? only games are.
