Well let me assure you, they can come out that fast. When my son was born he came out so fast you'd have thought he was late for an important appointment or something. From waters breaking to me holding baby was no more than a few minutes. |
so your missus had no contractions? which counts as labor .... |
Labor is constantly misdiagnosed as stomach aches, inflammatory appendix etc etc..especially when the mother claims she isnt pregnatn...some even continue having their period

I just did a pregnancy quiz, didn't even ask me if I am a girl or a boy :').
So well, I'm a boy, but I still have 78% chance of being pregnant!

Of course she had contractions. But the pushing doesn't start until not only the water has broken, but only after the cervix has dilated to +- 9cm.
For her it only took a couple of pushes. Not the 6+ hours of PUSHING that you said, so yes..it's very possible that it could happen on the toilet.
I'm not sure if you know this part either, but when the cervix is dialating, women feel as though they are bursting for the toilet and in a lot of cases they spend a lot of time on the loo in the build up to giving birth. So his story is entirely possible albeit slightly unlikely.
