Idiots. Well I hope that they get what they're looking for but isn't it a serious criminal offence for someone with HIV to intentionally infect someone else with the virus? I'm pretty sure that it is regardless of whether or not the othher party is willing.

Someone was telling me the other day on another forum that people can still live long, relatively normal lives while being HIV positive. Even having kids doesn't necessarily mean the kid will get the virus. I thought that once you had it that was it, it would turn into AIDS and you would die from it, eventually.

As long as take your (very expensive) medicine, AIDS won't break out and you'll have a "normal" life.
An american guy got cured from Aids in Germany 3 years ago. They tested him again some weeks ago and couldn't find any HIV in his body anymore (even took samples from his brain). He is the first and only person who has been cured from aids ever. Was a very nice read
The lolly part is, that he had anal intercourse with another HIV+ gay in the meantime and didn't get it. He is practically immune against HIV now  Just imagine getting cured from aids and the next thing you do is getting a HIV infected dick in your butt, without a condom ...
