I mean, how stupid can you be? A lot of random stuff happens, deal with it.
Ok, thinks might happen for some reason, but it doesn't have to be a good one.
One thing is for sure, god is not the one giving out the reasons
Well some things happen for a reason, like: I ate a sandwich because I was hungry See there is a reason
But things like: there was *insert random geological event here* in *put a place on earth here* because *put a supernatural force/ person's name here* wanted it, is a pure bullshit. World is govern by a massive amount of random happening things, deal with it or die

As long as there are morons who believe an octopus can be psychic, what do you want?
I don't follow football or anything, but i saw that octopus thing. I just thought it was for fun and not really serious. Did people actually believe he was psychic?

I guess you could say some things just happen.I surely wouldnt be the only one to think that meeting the same person say every month on the 16 in different parts of town would be something just extremely random , it has to be something more to it.I wouldnt say that the reason for something happening is some sort of higher power , no , it's something to do with us , some sort of chemical attraction to oneanother , a subconcious connection or something completely unknown and ineffable since we don't even know the human mind's limitations.
Arguably you could say that if some things are meant to happen they will , sure there are many factors to be taken into consideration , need , attraction on a subconcious level , some form of belief that it will happen , but in this case there is no higher power , your will and need and soforth are pushing you ahead . In this case i guess too people could say come together somewhere , somehow , it all depends if it's meant to happen to them as in they both want it to happen. They don't really have to acknowledge it , but want it to come true , somewhere in the back of they're heads or deep down inside.
If you really have some sort of internal desire to be somewhere , i guess it could very well bring you there , cause you're making it happen.
Now back to the 'reason' , it doesnt have to be explainable , you could say that some things just .. happen , your dog gets run over , it happens , it wasnt his/her time , but it just happen and all conincidences/events brought it here and that the summ of all these could be described as "faith" .
I think 16 is exaggerating a little, but I get your point. There are strange things in life we cannot explain 100%, and even tho it doesn't seem logical it probably is And when you think of a person and you suddenly run into him/her just think about all the times you have been thinking about a person and NOT ran into him/her.

Yeah it is , but it happend to me to meet the same person for about a month consecutively once a week after haven't met him at least 1 year or 2.
I'd like to think that some of the things i've said are to , that if some things are meant to happen , it will . Every story , journey , moment has an ending and if you feel that the ending hasnt happend yet , you're probably right , and there is more to be written , told , visited and lived through.
Or maybe i'm just dissalusioned and like some things just to happen so that they'll fall in place on my behalf and everything will be as a wanted.
There is actually a partial scientific basis to believe that certain personal events are involuntarily engineered by an individuals subconscious. The 'reason' that some people attest to is that their consciousness has decided they need it.
Look up 'organized complexity' and 'sensitive dependence on initial conditions' for the reasoning behind how your subconsciousness could have such a dramatic effect.
Of course it's still just conjecture, but it at least provides a rational basis for the belief in fate.
