I really dont know how I feel about the "The Drowning", seems a little soft for my taste...

fucking Reznor should have stayed on the booze bandwagon , With Teeth , Year Zero , The Slip and except for some Ghost songs the most are mediocre at best compared to stuff from Broken , The Fragile and The Downward Spiral

I really like year zero. Admit the other two aren't up to much though.

You cant make classics like 'i wanna fuck you like an animal' all the time though. Unfortunately.

I actually like "A Drowning" a lot. It's soft melancholic electronica. If you expected NiN I suppose disappointment is to be expected.

EDIT: damn, A Drowning is a masterpiece. I've been listening to it 10+ times in a row while studying hypergiants, interstellar masses, neutron & quark stars and accompanying physics... I absolutely love the song. From start to finish it subtly grows every bar. Very sweet and melancholic song.
