They are going on my nerves with this only 3d stuff For instance I would have liked to see Alice in Wonderland in 2D, in 3D it had nice effects but the picture was dark (as is with all 3D movies) :\

Saw it in 3D and I have to say, the 3D completely sucked. Several times I took my glasses off and the picture looked like a normal 2D movie. By mid point I had to really look just to remind myself it was actually a 3D movie, because how underwhelming it was.
But the movie itself was decent, but really felt like a deja-vu because we know these stories and the director didn't really change anything. I do not remember the old movie, or how it ended, but in this "Kratos" or Perseus vs Hades completely sucked. The whole movie was building towards defeating Hades, and then we get shit like that, with huge hints for the sequel, fuck that, waste of $14. Funny enough, right before seeing the movie I was playing god of war 3 and beat hades, now thats how it shouldve been in the movie.
So do not waste your money on 3D version, or even better wait for a decent rip.

I didn't perceive the 3d as bad but it wasn't impressive either. anyway I can't say that it would have looked better in 2d.
as for the movie itself..well.. as a big fan of the original (one of my favourite movies as a child) I was pretty annoyed at all the things the changed story wise.
the story here was much simpler, with some previously important characters simply absent or changed beyond recognition. characters motivations are also totally different.
while in the original perseus fell in love with andromeda who, as in this movie, was to be sacrificed due to her mother insulting the gods and fought to save her, here he instead just seeks revenge on hades (wtf? hades?) for killing his family. he also now falls in love with a totally different woman who wasnt even in the original at all if I recall correctly.
there's a lot more changes from the original..but I guess people who never saw the original or just didn't care about it too much won't mind any of this.
it was a decent action flick in it's own right. could have been a lot better but a 6/10 makes sense. it's fine when there's nothing better to watch. and at least it's better than transformers 2. now THAT movie really sucked. lol
what a complete waste of time, 3/10 boring and unimaginative with some canny comedy moments put there that didn't fit the story line (flute gag, archer statue gag, Gin vs medusa gag {this one was lulz} )
the original medusa fight was way better made in the original that in this crap remake
as for me this craptastic movie rides the wave of GOW3 to gather the most money before people see it as a total failure
yeah i think we can all agree that the film wasnt the greatest, or that it didnt have plenty of problems with it, but fuck it... atleast its a cgi filled time waster... finally its out, have at it.
3D is a gimmick to draw the masses to the theaters again. Colors, fidelity and resolution suffers to give place for some 3D effects (the glasses are dark gray ffs), and people buy into it. I couldn't care less about 3D with normal movies. I enjoy watching a 3D flick at some amusement park but not in a movie theater.
It made more $$$ in world-wide than in USA? Ronhrin will pop a vein!
Quite a few movies make more moolah in non-US areas; quess it just depends on the amount of countries the movie is shown rather than the actual quality of it.
