So, my gf's appartment isn't really big but the walls are massive stone.
Her wireless network router is located in the living room and all is fine and dandy if I use my laptop there but if I go into her bedroom (which is basically the other end of the appartment) I get like next to no signal.
From her living room to her bedroom I'd say it's about 12-13m so distance shouldn't be a problem so I think it's the walls that are blocking the signal.
Now to the actual question.
How do I get a useful signal into her bedroom?
I know there are wireless network repeaters out there but most of what I saw is ridiculously overpriced.
Other idea would be to just take a longer cable and put the router in the hallway somewhere midway between the two rooms but I guess I'd get a shitty signal in both rooms if I did that.
Advice? Help? Anything? Enlighten me, will ya?

You will need two wireless routers for that or router and access point.

Some routers you can buy larger antennas which might work also. Or make a "directional" antenna. Also if you have an "open source" firmware, you can boost the signal strength to 150% or so..
