Wouldn't it be sane to have temporary forums for discussions of specific games?

For example - Doom III and Half-Life 2.

When those kind of games is close to completion and so, there is usually 14154235 new threads regarding the game every day. am i wrong?

Ah well, it's just a suggestion, do whatever you like with it.

we have threads dedicated to a specific game. adding a new section would only add to the mods workload. Also problems with which game deserves a section and closing of the section and the whining that follows.

Still up to mrt to decide.

Hardware: Ryzen 3700x, B450 MSI Gaming Pro carbon AC, GTX1080, 32 GB 3200 Mhz cas 14, 256 EVO SSD, 1 TB EVO SSD and 4 TB HDD.
Console: xbox, wii and xbox 360

That's true, it would be some problems. But i'm thinking only of those hugely anticipated games who have huge fanbases. "And not the kind of 5 minutes of fame-games" like far cry or vietcong for example. there are very few games with the same fanbase as doom or half-life, or quake, if there were to be any quake 4 or something.
and yes, there is threads dedicated to specific games, but those are either 1253 pages of misc off topic chat, or there's 2342 different threads of the specific game mixed in the general game chat forum. (PC Games Arena)
i was thinking of some sub-forum thingie like "PC Games Arena" and "PC Games - Technical"... if it's lots of work to do or if it's in any other way troublesome i don't know shite. and again, as you said, it's up to mrt.
