I need help in indentifying two games that are quite old.
The first one is from the begining of 1990. It isn't Raptor since Raptor is situated in "present" with a plane of the same name. The game I was playing was in space where you were driving a craft of some sort and shooting up aliens. It was top-down, just like raptor. I can't say much about graphics since I was playing it in black and white (I thinks it was 286 that I played it on). There were some upgrades you could pick up, but I can't really remember everythig. I remember some of the enemies as spiked circles (like a round saw)
The second one is even more obscured to me as I've seen only two pictures, and I remember only one. The game has something to do with escaping from somewhere. The picture I remember was pixelated and on it you could see a pixelated guy swimming in a lake of sorts. It's not Escape or Die Trying, as this game was pixelated like old lucas adventures, and the guy was swimming in a lake behind which was a colourful landscape.
I've seen this game in a magazine from mid 1990.

Nope, that is too new (1995). BUT! You have helped me a lot since I just ran across the game I played on the same site on which I read info about Tyrian. The game I played was Xenon 2. Thanks.
Now, for the second game, I really have no idea what could it be...

tyrian with two players was great, i loved playing it with my brother. i think you could even join the two player ships together, get some bonuses and have one guy controlling the movement and the other guy controlling a turret kinda thing. awesome!

Second one could be Out of This World --> Moby Games
Game starts in a body of water you need to escape from, and there is a landscape behind it.
