Second Chance Heroes is a cooperative arcade action game that takes place in a world overrun by apocalyptic disasters! Made weak by over-exposure to kitten videos, reality TV and ironic photos of bacon, the citizens of the modern world are entirely unprepared when the end of the world arrives! Unable to save ourselves from evil robots, nuclear missiles, sentient fast food, alien invasions and hordes of the undead, our only hope lies in the past. Put together a dream team of cloned heroes drawn from throughout human history and use them to push back the apocalyptic tide! Or don't and just let the zombie chickens eat your face
Your goal in Second Chance Heroes is to collect and train a small army of historical clones. Each one you add gives you new options as you approach a new level or battle. And remember, with character tag teaming you can always have two clones on hand in any given situation.

The roster to date:
Abraham Lincoln:America's greatest President. Prior to taking office, he was best-known for his skills as an orator and a series of amazing pulled pork barbecue recipes. These days, Honest Abe has retired his famous ax in favor of something a BIT more dramatic. Wielding an enormous chainsaw, he wades into any fray, hacking his enemies to bits. And when he gets REALLY worked up, he becomes a whirling tornado of chainsawing fury!
Queen Elizabeth I of England:Daughter of King Henry VIII and Queen regnant of England from 1558 to 1603. Also invented beer pong. The Queen likes to stand back and keep an eye on things. Her powerful Gatling gun mows down her enemies and she can plant a flag anywhere on the battlefield to offer a quick healing assist to her allies.
Napoleon Bonaparte: Famed military commander and Emperor of France. Little known fact: He was ACTUALLY over seven feet tall. Riding on the back of a powerful cannon, Napoleon is an ideal middle-distance attacker. His blunderbuss pistol lets him hit a wide swath of targets from a moderate distance and his powerful cannonball attack is enough to knock down the toughest foes from far away.
Joan of Arc:15th Century French visionary and military leader. Also invented break-dancing. Heavily armored and wielding an enormous sword with exceptional killing range, she's also an ideal real front-line commander. Joan of Arc can leap great distances, knocking down nearby enemies and healing nearby allies.
Nikola Tesla:Brilliant engineer and inventor, best known for developing Alternating Current electricity. His only hobbies were collecting mustache wax and yodeling. Tesla uses powerful electrical weaponry to fry his enemies from a distance using a mix of electrical beams and a powerful "stun grenade" he can plant on the ground.
Julius Caesar:Supreme general and ruler of Rome. Was the first person to guarantee pizza delivery in 30 minutes or less. They say you should keep your friends close and your enemies closer, but Caesar learned from experience that it's WAAAAY better to keep your enemies at a distance. Preferably, with a dagger in their eye. Rapidly flinging blades help Caesar do just that and the ability to drop into a ghostly spirit mode and rapidly stab his enemies from a distance help him finish the job.
Blackbeard: Notorious sea captain and scourge of the Caribbean. Resorted to piracy only after his dreams of opening a boutique cupcake bakery fell through. Blackbeard uses a spectral anchor to drag his enemies into close-quarters, stunning them and setting them up to be run through with his enormous cutlass.
Marie Curie:Renowned physicist, chemist and pioneer in the study of radioactivity who discovered Radium. Also led an all-girl crime-fighting team known as "The Terrible Ladyfists." Don't let the walker fool you - Madame Curie is one of the most formidable ranged opponents you could possible face. Firing beams of radioactive energy from her eyes, she can pick enemies off from a distance and when she gets really charged up, she unleashes a devastating nuclear explosion.
