Seeing as there are a couple of other bitch threads about uni, and seeing as I reached an all new low, I thought I might add to the general amusement here :/
So second semester, 2 of my clases are the 2 math classes from the 1st semeseter.
I didn't get the admission to the exams in the first semester (because I thought it was gonna be easy, didn't learn enough, my own fault).
So this semester I'm probably not gonna get the admission to the exams again. Why do ask?
Did you not learn enough again? Yes I did, at least that's what I thought but by now the idea that I just might be way too stupid for university math creeps around in my head on a nearly daily basis.
Then again, I'm not stupid. I didn't do too bad at school, my computer science class goes kinda ok (with a few exceptions, like Assembly. I fucking hate Assembly).
So today, once again, I sit in front of my weekly homework for math and I just can't do it.
One of the tasks was to show the convergence or absolute convergence of 5 different series' (or sequences? I have no freaking idea what "Folge" or "Reihe" is in english. There goes the thought of me being good at english down the drain. :/ )
And I just couldn't do it. Because I had no idea how, I had no idea where or how to start.
That's a pattern that has been going for the past couple of weeks already. Sometimes, after several hours of thinking I might get it but that won't help me in the exam (if I ever get the admission to take it in the first place).
Just makes me thing I am dumb.
And since I won't be able to write 2 of my exams I probably won't be seeing any student loans next semester so I'm double to triple fucked.
Now that that is out of my system, excuse me while I get fucking drunk in my room because life started sucking very badly again.
edit:
getting drunk got scrapped since, for some reason, I can't stomach drinking pure vodka anymore.

Yea, Assembly can be a bitch. I hated it until i had a "Ah ha" moment and everything fell into place.
You are not dumb, and are probably over thinking things in your math courses.

It's the Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf in Germany. *shrug*

There are times when I don't feel like living, let alone studying, but then there are times when I think to myself: I'm doing this for the future, and that could be fun  So I just get this boost and see the positive side in all of that mess

Just kidding, I'm looking at the possibility of studying in Germany as a foreign student so it interested me. |
What do you want to study?
Btw @ Reklis: Assembler isn't that hard really. At first I was like wtf but at one point you just get behind the logic and after that it's pretty easy (at least the stuff you are going to do at the first level in school  ).
But I can feel your pain in the ass from mathematics... I learned for one full week around 8 hours a day with a friend and out of around 200-220 people just 40 got past the test (grade 4 or better) and just 20 had a better grade than 3... I had a 3 so... yeah that was awesome But that was Math I... I failed Math II 3 times! So I HAD to pass Math 2 to NOT lose my license to study ( ) I had to take an oral examination (that sounds very gay  ) where I almost shat myself :O
