I played the last and I liked it despite its ridicilous amount of bugs and terrible console port, so I'm gonna try this Smile

Don't bother. Game itself is as meaningless as pigs' faeces.
And, btw, you don't need any intensive training of any sorts to play it unless you're as stupid as a stone.

All games are meaningless.

P.S. This game should be good. My player mode, online (2ksports servers lolz), better pitching and batting controls. I doubt it'll come close to The Show but still.

Game is a huge improvement over 2k9 version.Still worse than The Show but it's fun and My Player mode is well implemented.

Even for people new to baseball, pitching can be learned easily. However, synchronizing your batting and fielding properly is a bitch. Especially the fielding, knowing to act fast in order to move the fielder right to catch a wild ball and pass it quickly to the right base can be hard for people that haven't watched or played another baseball game.

I like this game, and I'm determined to train myself and get better, I'm starting to even like baseball, and I haven't played a baseball game since Microsoft's MVP Baseball 2002! Razz

Haven't tried My Player yet, but fearwhatnow seems really positive so I guess I'll try. What position did you pick?

Try the Drills before playing a game, and look up the rules explained somewhere on the internet. Funny how I was confused about scoring, although it's quite simple. If a player runs from third to home before the ball reaches the catcher, that's a point, and it's a point for each player that manages to do so on the same play, and that's called a run. If a batter manages to bat the ball out of the field, called a home run, the batter's team gets a point plus one for each player on base. For example, scoring a home-run with a player on third base and a player on first, awards the team 3 points.

Just some info for those that have no idea 'bout baseball.
