Plot:
The movie tells the origins of Solomon Kane and is hoped to be the first of a trilogy of movies. When the story opens Kane is a mercenary of Queen Elizabeth I fighting in Africa, but after an encounter with a demon, The Reaper, he realizes he must seek redemption or have his soul damned to Hell. He returns to England and lives a life of peace, converting to puritanism, but soon the doings of an evil sorcerer upset his plans and he must take up arms again.

usually im far too lazy to bother posting new movies, i usually just let others do it, but i caught the trailer for this and was like holy fucking shit crackers that looks sweet, so yeah, check it.

also dunno when the official release date is... so far only russian release date, and film festival dates are available... meh...

It has some korean subs but they can easily be cropped off, the picture is def dvd not bloody vhs and very decent.

edit: Damn good movie, sort of like POTC but for grown ups.

yeah saw that yesterday

AR looks a tad off too. no cropping, no ivtc... gonna hold out for a better copy... i mean really, it wouldnt take much for someone to get the source and do a much better job... seriously, why the hell would someone leave those huge black bars WITH the subs, uncropped?

i want to see it badly, but not like this... ze wait continues.

oh, and i think a saw a site with an estimated dvd release date of early june, so a dvdrip could be pretty near anyway.

i hope that copy isnt fucked, and its just whoever took the screens hasnt set up their shit properly, and thats why that stupid bar is there on the right...

I watched just a few minutes of the other release and I'm glad I waited...

I don't suggest I understand encoding but this release is a third of the size yet far superior in quality.
