Some of the movies 'at fault' are obviously excempt from the rule, imo. It wouldn't make any sense for anybody not to talk about the protagonist in District 9 for instance. Why should the director of fucking Home Alone think(Hmm this movie is t0t4lly for men lets put some women in it that talk about flowers)...
I gotta admit the feminist woman makes me barf and this is again one of those things where SOME movies the women might be underrepresented 'unnecessarily' but seriously, if you think the movie sucks go fucking write one...Why should the male writers of Hollywood have a greater insight to the female psyche than the rest of us
