basically i installed a real copy of XP and instead of wasting an activation limit i tried to use the activation bypass method that involved editing the registry.
i thought it worked fine until the message popped up saying "xp needs to be activated within X amount of days" so i just said screw it and clicked ok and was prompted that xp had been activated.
after that the msg kept popping up during boot and now those 30 days are up and the screen goes back and forth between "windows has been activated" and the login screen refusing to go any further.
any idea what to do or am i sol and my only option would be a reformat?
I got locked out of a PC like that, but used one help option or something which opened an internet explorer, so I opened a command prompt from there, then downloaded an activation crack and after a few tries/reboots I succeeded.

yea getting access to the internet/computer was one of the easy things..
guess i gotta go look for the activation crack.
think you can remember the name?
edit:
christ that was easy.
found Antiwpa-v3.4.6 which apparently installs a fix that fools windows into thinking it's booting into safemode thus skipping the wpa check.
