Probably all there servers will be in Korea anyway so no doubt our pings etc will be something ridiculas?
Does look good though i must admit, even though there probably is no vechiles which makes games like this very tedious imo.

its not impossible its dificult to register and accept you
only a korean can help
i dont understand why they have such a policy with the games in korea
you have to put a kssn name
kssn = korean social security number i think you understand what that means
for example if you steal yours korean friend kssn and register in pmang
then he cant register in pmang if he wants permanant ,so actually you steal an oportunity
this is a safe system from one side
I'm not korean, but I'm learning it and have quite a few korean friends.. I can probably get their help in navigating the site and getting it to work especially if that KSSN generator works.
and the install, while available, is great, but the game fails on start.
Its a rough translation, but its saying something about authentication failed.
try the connection again.
I didn't even get an opportunity to try creating an account.
It may be region locked.
Though the files include a "int" localization directory.
[edit]
The sign up only takes korean letters for a username (if anyone is trying to create an account)
However that KSSN generator doesn't seem to work. Its giving me an error. Actually trying to take a look at the stuff below the sign up, it looks like they actually verify these, so no generator is going to get you by that. I don't think its possible to play this 1) as a non-korean and 2) being outside korea.
I played a few rounds, its like counter strike without the screaming and swearing 12 year olds. Was pretty fun
Seems some maps you can die multiple times, some you can't.
here a few screenshots a couple before I figured out how to change my screen size.
Here are a few basic words to help people navigate the menus if they can get in:
확인 - Accept/Next
취소 - Cancel
해제 - Cancel
무기 선택 - Weapon selection
수리 - repair
닫기 - close/shut
시삭 - Go/Start/Ready
입장 - Enter
빠른 입장 - quick play
초보 - New
일반 - general
채널 명 - Channel name
섭속 자 - Players
and a couple I'm not sure of
새로고침 - Google says Refresh on this one, not in my electronic dictionary though.
대회 - one of the meanings is rally, and the only choice is some kind of mega battle
클랜 - Google tells me it means clan. Makes sense now, its a transliteration
I haven't figured out how to buy new guns yet. I have gone up a level, and when I did there was a pop up box with a picture of some armor and a new grenade, but I'm not sure how to access them.
And there is a fair bit of English in the game which makes me wonder. All the voices are English, some English on some parts of the maps, victory screens, etc. But the menus themselves are 100% korean.
I've managed to translate most of the menus (At least the important stuff).
Its a pretty fun game. Unlike counter strike your money and weapons carry through from game to game.
Those are the important things. We're not sure what 보급 means in this context (in the little info box on the lower left). I've asked a Korean friend, but she isn't sure. She says it means spread or diffusion, but I'm not sure how that is relevant here.
I recommend this to anyone. Even though I'm in Canada, the lag isn't bad. Only 1 game thus far have I had any lag issues.
Not sure, it seems like it wouldn't be hard at this point. Most of the "in game" text is in english. The sounds are english. Only the menus and status screens are korean.
The business model for the parent company seems to be on microtransactions, for some perks. All their games are like that.
maybe if EA does well with battlefield heroes we'll see AVA internationalized. Like I said, if you can get in, its fun. I'm surprised lag isn't an issue for me. I've been a point leader on a few maps even.

i am glad that you had a succes with registration Smile
Thanks. I wish there was a more reliable way to get the information needed to register. I wouldn't mind be able to repeat this for a friend or two if they want to join.
I've also tried out Raycity. This is pretty fun, but text heavy. So far I'm doing okay, but if things get complicated it might get tough to play. Its a kind of stunt taxi driving mmorpg..
I can't get it why a crappy cs clone that you can't play is still being discussed?
Its neither crappy nor unplayable.
having played CS, this is far superior to it.
and as I pointed out, its plenty playable. I've even won a few maps and I'm no 1337 player.
