Virtual walls everywhere will be in jeopardy on January 26, as Atomic Games today announced that its destruction-happy Breach has gone gold and will launch then for PC and Xbox 360.
Breach will cost 1,200 Microsoft Points ($15) on Xbox Live Arcade, while the PC edition will receive digital and retail releases, at $19.99.
The PC edition will boast "larger explosions, particle effects and more," courtesy of Nvidia's PhysX technology, plus support for dedicated servers with remote admin.
Breach was originally planned to launch in June 2010 but ended up delayed, giving time to create a 'Hardcore' mode "for players looking to play the way operatives train. "
As Atomic--creator of the ill-fated shooter Six Days in Fallujah--demonstrated to us last year, Breach's destructible environments are a bit different to those in other vandalism sims, such as Battlefield: Bad Company 2, as cover can be destroyed brick-by-brick. Have a gander at the new gameplay trailer below for 'splosions galore.
Facts & figures on obesity: Obesity is one the major health challenges worldwide and has become an epidemic over the last decades. Europe has the highest number of overweight and obese people in the world. The number of obese people has in fact tripled over the last 20 years in the Europe, according to the WHO. Today, over 130 million people are obese in Europe; approximately 10%-20% of men and 15%-25% of women. In addition, 400 million people are overweight in Europe.
From reports there is no dedicated servers so when the host leaves the game ends, it's up on Steam for roughly 11 Euro but as the above comment says it seems like a average FPS MP game with destruction functionality added.
EDIT: Decided to try it, someone has to talk about how the game is. (EDIT: )
I understand the price point, maps feel somewhat small and there's not that many of them, five it seem, four gameplay modes including basic TDM, limited character customization though varied perks and weapon unlocks.
Destruction is interesting but I think Bad Company 2 did it better for MP though it can look pretty fun and most every placed object can be torn down with enough firepower nearly brick by brick though shooting cover is just wasting ammo unless it's wood or support as to collapse debris on your opponents as a quick way to dispatch them.
Overall it has potential but I don't know if it'll manage to stay competive with all other MP games on the market already, we'll see.

The sound is very bad in the trailer and no dedicated servers is epic fail. I think this will be the same as Lead and Gold (Good game but no dedicated servers = instant fail).

From my knowledge this game was suppose to be named "Six Days in Fallujah" with SP campaign about this but ,Konami dropped the bomb , did a bad PR job and turned this game in a gigantic controversy
http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/07/gleaning-potential-controversy-from-konamis-six-days-in-falluj/
so they where shit out of luck and to keep afloat they released the Multiplayer component from this dropped game as "BREACH"
big failure
i was expecting a lot of more from this tittle. Environment is not all destructable as they say it would be, only couple of objects are destructable. Models are shitty, movement are retarded, there is input mouse lag. I set up sensitivity from inf file to play normal, on 1, on 5 its like on 100, you cant control it. There's like mouse acceleration, well i think it's coz this supposed to be consolish tittle. And you cant disable it. And yes, no graphic settings except low medium high and vsync. Last night i got only 3 servers with ping lower than 100 and in the end i hosted a game, played excelent, no lag, no nothing, just didnt have patience, 6 rounds and i finished playing this game. There are a lot of bugs, Im really hoping they will fix most of them through patches. Maybe improve characher movement and stuff like that.
