I just got it.
There is a german release out there, but you can take the english folder from the demo. Doesn't seem to be any protection on it.
I finished the tutorial. It is a kind of tycoon game with a slight connection to "The Movies" in that you pick directors, actors, etc. but I don't think you can really get in depth with it like the movies.
This just came up on Steam. Its going for $29.99. Not sure if its worth that yet or not.
Really? What's it called? I searched, couldn't find anything. Yes it works. I loaded it up and did the tutorial in English last night. All the menus, everything in English. Just rename your localization/de folder to something else and it'll play in English after you copy it over. I also patched it to the latest with the english patch (german install, 1.06 german patch, then 1.06->1.071 english patch)
